My Health & Wellness Mission

Seasoned by Rachel is a space steeped in life experience, care, and a deep belief in the beauty of nourishing living, especially for women navigating their 50s and beyond.
With a background as a Home Economist, Food Technologist, and a qualified Food & Textiles teacher, I’ve always had a passion for creating thoughtful, functional, and beautiful environments: whether in the kitchen; the classroom; or the home. I’ve worn many hats over the years and happily put my hand to almost anything. I’ve taught English as a foreign language in France & South Africa; worked as a farm manager on our farm in the Western Cape, South Africa, co-founded a luxury food gift box business in South Africa, and renovated three lovely, love-filled homes across different continents.
I’m very much a hands-on person. I’m a doer by nature and my journey has always been shaped by the joy of creating, nurturing, and making life a little more meaningful through the everyday. From food and textiles to wellness and home life, it’s all been part of the same thread: living well with intention.
Seasoned by Rachel is a place where I now bring those experiences together. I’m currently training as a certified Health and Wellness Coach, with a focus on supporting women over 50. My coaching will centre around gentle, sustainable wellbeing, including healthy eating, mindful habits, maintaining a healthy weight, and embracing the positive shifts that come with this season of life.
